Since its inception in 2006, the Center for Community-Based Partnerships has been recruiting community members and University faculty, staff and students to participate in a wide variety of community engagement opportunities. Prospects for involvement range from initiating a project with University and community partners to conducting research, writing for publication, designing brochures and maintaining websites.
We offer graduate assistantships, year-round internships, and work study assignments in a variety of areas, from writing to print and video editing, from qualitative and quantitative research to photography, from events planning to graphic design, and from in-house training to website production and summer camp instruction. And all of our assignments come with ongoing and career-supporting training. Our alumni go on to top graduate programs or into good jobs in business, industry and the professions.
