In your abstract, please describe a project or project idea that will appeal to an audience interested in University and community partnerships and collaboration — a project or idea that illustrates how you as a University student are interested or involved in working with the larger community. Projects may be related to your coursework or may reflect your personal interest in applying what you are learning as it relates to community work, organizations or institutions. In this way, your abstract will tell us how your work illustrates the goals of community-engaged scholarship, which are the “generation, exchange, and application of mutually beneficial and socially useful knowledge and practices developed through partnerships between the University and the community.” Submissions that showcase community partnerships, community/institutional collaboration, service learning, research, and civic engagement in any discipline are encouraged. Please clearly identify relevant research questions and scholarly approaches in your abstract where you have them. Maximum size 10MB.
